Project Overview

The Bulleen interchange will not only have multiple new bridges and flyovers including pedestrian walkways, but will also provided a widen existing the existing Bulleen Road Bridge over the freeway and relign the freeway entry ramps.
Our Role
Clifton Formwork (Vic) has been engaged as the form-reo-pour contractor for bridge substructure works at the Koonong Creek Reserve (KCR) Compound. Working from the ground up, pilecaps will be poured once driven or bored piles have been installed. From there, architectural pier columns and crossheads will be poured that will support steel beams and girders of new bridges in the future. Clifton Formwork (Vic) is working very closely with client designers to achieve best results for a large portal beam to be poured on one of the bridges. This portal beam which is to be poured in-situ requires approximately 290 tonne of concrete to be supported.
